Indian Summer Organic Cotton Fabric, Floral Spring Peach

A beautiful range of fabrics created in collaboration with the V&A museum, drawing on influences from 19th century costume and patterns with a taste of India.  The vibrant designs depict love birds, florals and foliage in colours that take us to the far east and then bring us back again.

The designs are very varied in their possibilities, some having an Indian Summer feel that take us into Autumn while others suggest a festive feel and would work well with festive makes. 

The fabric is of lovely quality with a light weight and a soft drape, making it ideal for a range of projects including dressmaking, crafts, quilting and small soft furnishings. We suggest garments such as shirts. dresses or skirts or other projects such as bags or cushions.  Don't let us influence you though, you create anything your inspiration desires.

Whatever you decide to do with them, we hope you love these designs as much as we do.

Being a fine cotton, strong contrasts will be visible through the pale coloured fabric so some garments will benefit from being lined. 

Printed on 100% organic cotton therefore a cotton grown with regard for the environment.

The Craft Cotton Company have chosen to use 100% organic cotton in the manufacturing of this Cotton to ensure the impact on the environment of its production is more limited.

Care instructions

Delicate machine wash cold or hand wash, do not wring and avoid a fast spin. Do not bleach. Cool iron if needed. Pre washing recommended.

Being a light weight fabric, our organic cotton has the drape and texture to work very well with this Simplicity 9469 simple top pattern sewing pattern.
