Lightweight, but strong, beautifully silky rayon thread. Works well in many decorative applications, and is an ideal thread for computerized embroidery & ‘free motion’ machine embroidery.
The benefit of Gütermann Sulky rayon thread is, that although not quite as strong as a polyester thread, it has more sheen and is softer and less likely to cause puckering.
Gutermann Sulky Rayon 40 is the standard weight of machine rayon with an exceptionally high sheen finish, looking just like silk.
