McCall's sewing pattern 8540 Eighties Top and Skirt by Laura Ashley

Sewing pattern for Vintage McCall's 1980's Laura Ashley top and skirt. Pullover top A or B has tucked sailor collar, dickey and neck tie; above elbow length sleeves with pleated cap are pleated to bands. Top A has contrast collar and sleeve bands. Full gathered skirt has shaped, buttoned waistband, pockets in side front seams, back zipper closing. Authentic vintage reproduction includes additional sizes and cutting layouts.
Fabric Suggestion : Challis, Cotton, Cotton Blends, Damask, Lightweight Wool Crepe, Seersucker, Silk Broadcloth. Contrast Collar and Sleeve Bands in Solid Color Fabrics only. All Views: Not suitable for diagonals. Interfacing: Lightweight Fusible.
