A Field of Memories Organic Cotton Fabric, Lilian's Garden

A Field of Memories by The Crafty Lass is inspired and created from an affinity to poppies, with each design commemorating a family member special to the designer.  She describes her inspiration for this design as being her Grandma. The Crafty Lass says 'My beautiful Grandma, who I have been told I am very much like – was Lilian. Lil.'

The designs are a colourful and poingnant collection in celebration of life, British flowers and love. We hope you love these designs as much as we do.

These fabulous designs are printed on 100% organic cotton therefore a cotton grown with regard for the environment.

The fabric is of lovely quality with a light weight and a soft drape, making it ideal for a range of projects including dressmaking, crafts, quilting and small soft furnishings.

We suggest garments such as shirts. dresses or skirts or other projects such as bags, cushions or whatever your creative inspiration desires.

Being a fine cotton, strong contrasts will be visible through the pale coloured fabric so some garments will benefit from being lined.

The Craft Cotton Company have chosen to use 100% organic cotton in the manufacturing of this Cotton to ensure the impact on the environment of its production is more limited.

Care instructions

Delicate machine wash cold or hand wash, do not wring and avoid a fast spin. Do not bleach. Cool iron if needed. Pre washing recommended.

Sewing Suggestions

Being a light weight fabric, our organic cotton has the drape and texture to work very well with this New Look 6094 sewing pattern to create a stunning dress.
