Petal and Pip Organic Cotton Fabric, Leaves

Petal and Pip is the debut design from new designer The Crafty Lass. She was inspired by the florals found in botanical and walled gardens and on walks in the Northamptonshire countryside to create this elegant range. With bouquets of flowers and leaves in soft fresh tones, it reminds us of spring and summer flower beds full of colour and natural beauty.

These fabulous designs are printed on 100% organic cotton therefore a cotton grown with regard for the environment.

The fabric is of lovely quality with a light weight and a soft drape, making it ideal for a range of projects including dressmaking, crafts, quilting and small soft furnishings.

We suggest garments such as lightweight over shirts. lined floaty dresses, sarongs or tunics for over beach wear or whatever your creative inspiration desires. Being a fine cotton, strong contrasts will be visible through the pale coloured fabric so some garments will benefit from being lined

Care instructions

Delicate machine wash cold or hand wash, do not wring and avoid a fast spin. Do not bleach. Cool iron if needed. Pre washing recommended.

Sewing Suggestions

Being a light weight fabric, our organic cotton has the drape and texture to work very well with this sewing pattern New Look 6712 to create a fabulous floaty top.

You may need some thread. We recommend Gutermann Recycled Sew All 800
